Albergo Athenaeum

The staff is super nice and helpful (gave us advice, helped us with directions, allowed us to check out super early with no issues). The hotel itself is really close to the Palazzo dei Normani and about 15-20 minutes walk from the center. This was perfect for us because the city center can get quite busy so it was nice being able to escape to a quieter area at night. It is also about a 20 minute walk from the Palermo Central station but you also have a ton of bus options if you prefer to take transportation. The room we stayed in was big and spacious with a super comfortable bed, plus a nice balcony to enjoy the night breeze. Breakfast had great croissants and fresh fruit every morning. All in all we were really happy with the hotel and we think it's a great choice when visiting Palermo.

Good value for money, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Our room was cozy and comfortable. The breakfast buffet provided a good variety of choices. A nice gentleman at the reception desk was very helpful in providing us with information on how to go around the city. Would recommend.

The train station Palermo Palazzo Orleans in 10 minutes from the hotel. The train is near the airport. You can use a public transport to other places.

It was easy to find, and also with a 30 minute walk you can reach to the historical centre and also it's close to all restaurants markets etc. The breakfast was nice. Also it has a parking garage that you can use for free which is a big plus. Was neat and clean. Breakfast was nice.

This place has it all for someone visiting this area. It ticks all the essential boxes and ticks them convincingly. The room was spacious and clean, and everything worked as expected. Staff was great, secure parking was greatly appreciated and convenient, albeit a tiny bit tight for my large SUV. Still worked perfectly fine. Breakfast was good and efficient.
